TableScapes: The Special Event Conference

We had a great time at the special event conference last month in New Orleans. This week, we're taking you on a tour through our camera lens. This table design was created by one of the top event professionals in the industry and could be used at a wedding or an intimate dinner at home with friends and family. Make sure to use lower arrangements so guests can see across the table. Tip: A few of the tabletop pieces can be purchased at Z Gallerie, one of our favorite stores!

2010 Special Event Conference

We had so much fun at the Special Event Conference in New Orleans last month. We began by checking in at our fabulous accommodations, The Roosevelt New Orleans, The Waldorf Astoria Collection. The Roosevelt has old world charm with tons of history and modern amenities. We were treated like queens. Here are a few photos of the hotel and us having a little fun taking photos.

Are you ready for some football?

One of the great things about hosting a Superbowl party is the informality, from the use of evite email invitations to eating and drinking out of paper products. By now, your favorite team gear, whether the Saints or the Colts is likely sold out, so pick up some solid color paper products, black and gold, or blue and white and dress the part. Grab some sporty decor from your local party supply store and serve the food up simple. Paris Themed Baby Shower

We styled a Paris themed baby shower for a first time mom. With a guest list that was the size of a wedding, we are still recovering; but the results were fabulous! The mom-to-be gave us full creative reign right down to the cake and we LOVE when that happens. The venue, Epiphany Celebrations, is a gem and the staff is equally phenomenal.
